Learn to love your voice

This program on Sound as a modality of health and integrated well being is based on ancient texts on Yoga, Mantras, Music and Ayurveda, as well as validated scientific practices. It is open to anyone who is interested in working deeper on the aspects of Yoga and Sound.

 

Our thinking and perspectives determine our life experiences. All thoughts are inner sounds. Any positive changes that we want to bring about -  be it mental, physical or physiological, Sound forms one of the deepest sources that we can tap on.

 

This program is open to anyone who has an interest in working deeper on the aspects of Yoga and Sound – related to asanas, pranayama and meditation. No prior experience is required. It is not a pre-requisite to have done Part 1 of this program in order to attend Part 2.

 

 

Each of the areas of knowledge listed below will be accompanied by exercises and practical applications, intended to empower the practitioners to integrate the knowledge into their teaching and daily lives.

Nitya Mohan, daughter of A.G.Mohan, is the director of the Svastha Yoga and Ayurveda teacher training programs in Singapore. She has

been teaching for over 25 years. Trained from a young age in yoga and music, her passion lies in combining the streams of Classica, Yoga,

Music, Mantras and Sanskrit. She holds a degree in music and is an exponent of Sanskrit and chanting. She has taught workshops,

trained teachers and performed all over the world including USA, Europe, Australia & Asia. She is an exceptional singer hailed for her

purity of voice. In her holistic teaching, she draws from classical texts like the YogasutrasNatyashastra, Paniniya Siksha as well as

current scientific research.
